Board Member
John Lewis has been self-employed for over 30 years. In the late 80’s through half of the 90’s he founded and co-owned a modeling & talent agency, where he taught actors and models to understand the tv & film industry. He has always loved tv and film and how they can tell a story.
For the last 15 years John was the live video director as well as the technical director for the tv show “Back to The Altar”. He has been the acting coach as well as the assistant director to many theatrical productions, in charge of 100 to 250 cast members at their church.
John and his wife are Executive Producers on Robert Craig Films' upcoming release, No Address, the movie which will premiere in 2024. No Address is a full-length feature film about a group of individuals who fall into homelessness unexpectedly. This compelling drama captures the heartwarming journey of those experiencing homelessness and brings attention to this national crisis. Additionally, in May 2023 John and his wife had the honor to be Executive Directors for the sex trafficking film “MAYA” alongside Robert Craig Productions, bringing more awareness to this rapidly growing tragedy.
John and his wife Jet have served their community and continue to lead their neighborhood watch group. He is a lead on the community app NextDoor, he helped form the neighborhood group “Good Neighbors” (building community together). Where he served as their security advisor and private patrol advisor. It is a grass roots group that works with local police and elected officials to improve their community and the homeless.
Since 2010 he has been a licensed minister, leading or co-leading missionary trips to Israel, Egypt Cambodia, Rome, Greece, Turkey and more. He also serves as a volunteer job coach for the last 19 years with a young man who has Downs Syndrome at Chuck E Cheese.
Two years ago, John lost a great friend to mental illness and homelessness. His friends was a comedian, actor, a military veteran who was part of John’s talent agencies back in the 90’s, his friend just kept falling through the cracks of our broken system that is missing proper resources. This tragic loss has motivated John’s family and himself to serve the homeless cause any way they can.
With the love of tv and film it was an easy decision to want to serve on the board for The Robert Craig Production Foundation, using the power of film and television to bring awareness of the homeless across our country as well as other issues.
